At about this time Lena's country band days finished as she pursued her nursing career and Mark Flanagan and band headed for London to seek their fortunes. Mark famously joined the Jools Holland Band and a few years later, as some pics in the rest of the Gallery show, we helped him to return to start his solo career, in a few Norfolk pubs!...Later! The rest of the pictures cover from her Lee Vasey Big Band/Blues Sisters years thru the Lena Black Big Band (soul RnB) and Ferryboat 'Rhythm Club' years, to right up to date, with Lena Black's Swing Jazz n Blues Band coverage.
