Southern Nights (Lena's 2nd band) early eighties. Martin Hayley(bass) and Ronnie Pitt (gtr).

Mark Flanagan (pre Jools Holland!) and Lena are pictured here (first gig together) as a country duo, onstage at Cromer Regal 'Cine-Theatre'. Mark's guitar is ex Black and White Minstrel Shows if I remember correctly! And his socks were odd colours! Pavillion Theatre, Gorleston. Lena's next band The Texas Tea Boys (assembled by guitarist Mark Flanagan) included fabulous Will Lorenzo on drums, Pete Beresford/Kevin Willoughby, bass, and probably the UK's finest 'super steelie' Norwich's Patrick Arbuthnott. Still pre his Jools Holland days, Mark is pictured here chatting with fellow Lena's Texas Tea Boys band members,(mid 80's) as they check out the Norfolk Country Music Festival.
